The staunchly Catholic and Royalist people of the Vendée militaire region were unwilling to sacrifice their youth to the voracious appetite of the Republic’s military conscription machine. Instead, they were prepared to fight, proudly donning the sacred heart and swearing an oath to resist.
Due to the unique circumstances of the Civil War in the Vendée, this latest title in the Limits of Glory series will introduce Royalist elections for Generalissimos, Royalist commanders hidden by non-constitutional priests, Tocsins to muster peasant armies, a Republican Representative on Mission, calling out of the National Guard and the possibility of the Catholic & Royal Armée marching on either Paris or Granville.
