Dedicated to good design
Elegant game design is key to a good player experience!
The best games should be emotionally engaging, allowing a genuine empathy with the historical characters, submerging the player into the theme.
The mechanics of a game should be intuitive, enabling players to become part of the story, thus bringing a better appreciation of the difficulties faced.
Good strategy and tactics must be rewarded, while defeat should encourage exploration of better tactics next time. It is this level of satisfaction that we aim to achieve at Form Square Games.
Form Square Games specialises in wargames. Initially, we will be publishing games from the Revolutionary and Napoleonic period but, with the help of new designers, we aim to publish a range of historical games from many periods.
Our aim is to produce games that are thoughtful, innovative, and compelling.
